Pageant Photo Coach ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at pageantphotocoach.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. By using Pageant Photo Coach, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name and email address. Passwords are cryptographically hashed and never stored in plain text.

Photos

You upload photos for AI-powered coaching analysis. Photos are stored securely on our servers and are only accessible to you unless you explicitly create a share link. We do not use your photos for AI training, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the analysis you requested.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVC on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.

Usage Data

We may log IP addresses, browser type, and access times for rate limiting and security purposes. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

4. AI Processing

6. Photo Privacy & Sharing

Your photos are private by default. They are stored in your personal account and are not visible to other users or the public. If you use the share feature, a unique link is generated that displays your coaching results and photo thumbnails. Only people with that specific link can view the shared report. You control what you share.

7. America's Radiant Spotlight

America's Radiant Spotlight is a free monthly photo showcase. By entering, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Information Collected

We collect the contestant's first name, age, and state of residence to assign a competition division and display results. We also collect a single photo per contestant per month. If you are a new user, we collect your email address and password to create an account.

Photos of Minors

Spotlight entries may include photos of minors submitted by a parent or legal guardian. By submitting a photo of a minor, you represent and warrant that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and that you consent to the photo being publicly displayed as described below. We do not collect personal information directly from minors — all submissions are made by the adult account holder.

Public Display

Spotlight entries are publicly displayed on the results page. Submitted photos appear as watermarked thumbnails alongside the contestant's first name, state, division, and rank. By entering, you consent to this public display. Full-resolution original photos are never publicly displayed.

AI Scoring

Submitted photos are evaluated by AI to generate scores used for ranking. The AI analysis is performed at the time of submission. We do not use submitted photos to train AI models.

Withdrawal and Revocation

You may withdraw a Spotlight entry at any time before results are published by visiting your dashboard. Withdrawing removes your entry from consideration and from public display. After results are published, you may request removal by contacting us at support@pageantphotocoach.com.

Spotlight Data Retention

Spotlight entry data (photos, scores, and results) is retained indefinitely to maintain a historical archive of past showcases. You have the right to request erasure of your Spotlight data at any time by contacting us at support@pageantphotocoach.com. Upon request, we will remove your photo, scores, and identifying information from the archive.

8. Data Retention

Your account data, photos, and analysis reports are retained as long as your account is active. You may delete individual photos from your library at any time. Inactive accounts (no analyses and no activity for 7 days) may be automatically purged. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at support@pageantphotocoach.com.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), cryptographic password hashing, and authenticated access controls for all stored data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Pageant Photo Coach is intended for use by adults (parents, guardians, coaches, and contestants 18 years or older). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Photos of minors may be uploaded by their parent or legal guardian for coaching analysis or Spotlight entry (see Section 7). The submitting adult is responsible for providing consent on behalf of the minor. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. Cookies

We use localStorage (not cookies) to store your authentication token and theme preference. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

12. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Delete your photos and analysis reports at any time
Unsubscribe from marketing emails
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
